Cake Balls and Hilarious Underwear Jokes

I attempted to make cake pops tonight. They're all the rage, if you didn't know. And I think they're extremely delicious. They're just a ball of sugar! So, I wanted to get in on this action:
They turned out pretty okay. 2 things I would do differently:
1. Don't add so much milk. I got a little milk crazy and made the dough super doughy. So they taste super doughy. But hey, some people like that.
2. Make the outer chocolate coating thicker! I took a bite and thought, Yeah this is good...I WANT MORE CHOCOLATE ON IT!!
Unfortunately, by the time I realized I wanted more chocolate on the outside of my little cake balls...the chocolate had been put to other uses...
You see, when you finish making the cake balls and you have this big bowl of melted chocolate, all you think is, Quick! What can I dip in this!?
I tried many different combinations.
I drizzled it on chocolate ice cream. And that was pretty delicious. Super sugary. The chocolate hardened to the top. I was drooling. I rubbed it in my hair.

Then I thought, Dangit! Why don't we have pretzels!? So I picked up the next best thing. Ritz Crackers. That was alright. It tasted like a cookie that's not a cookie because it's a Ritz Cracker.
But the best idea I had was Teddy Grahams. I just dipped them in so they looked like they were in a little sleeping bag or long underwear.
I pretended they were old men at a spa together, just hangin' out. Laughing about jokes that I don't get.
And then I had the most delicious creations ever. Kelly and I kind of went crazy and dipped....most of the box of Teddy Grahams. They just look so darn cute in their little underwears! And then you dip their heads in and laugh because hahahaha they have underwear on their heads!

Overall, it was a great night for being me.
Not a great night for being a Weight Watcher.
A great night for being my husband, though.
And a great night for underwear jokes!

Kelly And His Pranks

So, Kelly does this thing where he pretends to take a picture of me when actually he is taking a video. I fall for it every time!
Take a look at this montage:

I'm almost embarrassed by how long it takes me sometimes...

Easy Hair That Looks Alright

I'm not great at many hair styles, or at style in general. However, my mother taught me how to French braid when I was 10 years old and I've never forgotten how.

So check this out: Side French braid with a bun! Kelly says it looks like half of Princess Leia, but I dig the Star Wars look.

Step 1: Lean your head to the side so all your hair falls over one shoulder.
Step 2: French braid your hair how you normally would, but on the side of your head. You'll be like, "Oh, This is just a braid, but it's on the side..."
Step 3: When you get to the end of the French part of the braid, twist your hair in into a tight bun and pin into place. (I usually do this when my hair is wet so that it stays twisted more easily)
Step 4: Wear some diamonds, go to the opera, and everyone will think you're super fancy!

If you saw the last time I attempted a hairdo, you know I'm not a stylist/hair magician. Obviously, this one MUST be easy. And it is. As long as you know how to French braid, that is.

I'm Good At Everything I Do

Everyone is doing Pinterest. I'm attempting. And in my attempt, I found this little beauty.
What a pretty hair idea!
So, along with attempting Pinterest, I'm also attempting new hairdos. Let me show you how it went...
Spoiler: It goes EXACTLY like the original!

Step 1: Section off the front pieces of your hair so that you look a little bit like a dog.

Step 2&3: Turn the back of your hair into 3 braids while still keeping that nice dog look. Then turn the shutter speed a little too low on your camera so you get washed out so now you're a ghost dog.

Step 4: Be really excited about having 3 braids at once!

Step 5: Awkwardly braid the dog ears so now you have 5 BRAIDS!
Step 6: When the directions tell you to "Bobby pin the 3 braids into a low bun...Whatever looks best on you!", decide that mashing the braids onto the back of your head so that they no longer resemble braids looks best on you. (Do people really know how to just pin 3 braids into a bun?! Who teaches you that stuff?)

Step 7: Take the dog ears and pin those over your mashed bird's nest -- I mean braided bun. Make sure you find the most awkward and uncomfortable pose to take a picture of the back of your head!

Step 8: Decide to be more awkward and take a picture of yourself in the mirror...BACKWARDS! Is my Myspace account still up?...And voila! You have a BEAUTIFUL(ly mashed) braided bun!

Let's see how they compare:

 Nailed it.

This is me nailing it.
